Your generosity will help ensure that your student
receives the very best academic and student life experience

The Parent and Family Fund is an annual giving program designed especially for the parents and families of current and former students.  The Fund supports the University’s 7 – 17 Strategic Plan which enhance both academic and student life programs at University including a special initiatives grant program.   Every gift, regardless of size, helps to make an impact.  Your generosity will help ensure that your student receives the very best academic and student life experience.

Parent Executive Committee

Parents Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is comprised of families who give a minimum annual gift of $250.  The Executive Committee is responsible for determining which special initiative proposals will receive funding.  Although the Committee is an active working group, participation is not uncomfortably demanding.  Responsibilities generally include:

Fall Meeting – The Committee meets each fall during Family Weekend to assist with developing creative ways to increase support to the Parent and Family Fund.  In addition, grant applications will be reviewed and funding decisions made on initiatives to support.

Spring Meeting – The Committee meets each spring during Homecoming Weekend.  This meeting will include presentations from areas on campus that have benefited from the Parent and Family Fund, brainstorming and goal-setting.

Personal Contacts – Committee members may choose to contact parents in person, by phone or by mail to thank donors for their gifts to the Fund.  Members may also be asked to contact fellow parents to request financial support of the Fund.  Such contact serves to personalize the Parent and Family Fund effort.
